Greetings! The Fifth Annual Indie Grits Festival starts this evening. If you haven't yet, head to today's Daily Gamecock or the Indie Grits website to get all the details you need about the programming.
Tonight offers one of several opportunities to see the Student Film program (6 p.m., Nickelodeon Theatre), as well as the Shorts program (8:15 p.m., Nickelodeon).
Don't have the time for a movie but thinking about some food ideas? Head to 711 Whaley Market Building at 6:30 p.m. The Slow Food event features sustainable chefs from the Columbia area, with taste-testing tables and a juried potluck. It's a great chance to check out some great local food you may not know about.
